BRAF mutations (V600E, V600K) are activating mutations found primarily in melanoma, thyroid, and colon tumor samples. Cancer patients harboring BRAF mutations are potential candidates of BRAF inhibitor therapies currently in various stages of clinical development. MolecularMD provides rapid, accurate, and sensitive BRAF mutation analysis on FFPE or fresh frozen tissue samples for patient selection and trial enrollment.
Our clinical assay development laboratory has validated the BRAF assay over a broad range of sample types. The allele specific, semi quantitative assay (ASQ-PCR) is rapid, sensitive, and cost-effective.
